OUR POGRAMS
We believe that children thrive when their parents thrive as well. Our two-generation approach considers the needs of both vulnerable children and parents together in the design and delivery of services and programs to support improved economic, educational, health, safety, and other outcomes.
Staying healthy and financially secure as you age can be a challenge. Get the information and tools you need to manage your money, maintain your health, and improve your life. Our services are designed to assist older adults live longer, healthier lives. We advocate for older Americans with service providers and provide guidance and assistance to the homeless population.
Afterschool Tutoring and Summer Enrichment
We believe that education is vital to a child’s development and that, with the right support, every child has the potential to succeed in school. Our youth literacy program is designed to promote the academic success of disadvantaged below-grade students. Our Life Skills workshops provide access to the Life Skills Training that equip our families with the tools to become self sufficient.
We offer seminars, workshops, one-on-one counseling/training, and technical assistance to equip single moms with the tools they need to thrive. Parenting is too important a responsibility to bear alone, yet all too often single parents are forced to do just that. We provide guidance, support, and empowerment opportunities to single parents specifically single moms to equip them for self-sufficiency.
Youth Leadership: Visit MS State Capitol
We are dedicated to providing exposure to underprivileged youth. Learning how a bill becomes a law and sitting in on a legislative session was a transforming experience for our future leaders.
